Client:  Stockland
Project Value:  $3 million
Completion:  April 2026

OSVgroup was engaged to deliver the complete landscape package for Stage 45 of Aurora, an established master planned community in Melbourne's north, where a quarter of the 630-hectare site is set aside as public open space.

The scope covered two distinct park spaces within the stage: a linear fitness and recreation park, and a nature play reserve built around a constructed dry creek bed. Both were delivered as full turnkey packages spanning civil, hardscape, softscape, structures and furniture, designed to give residents high-quality open space from the moment they move in.

Scope of Works

OSVgroup delivered all hard and soft landscaping across both park spaces, including:

  • Construction of concrete pathways, plazas and shared path networks
  • Basalt feature wall construction
  • Custom concrete sculpture installation
  • Shelter construction and installation
  • Rubber softfall and rubberised surfacing to fitness and play zones
  • Dry creek bed construction with feature rock and boulder placement
  • Playground and outdoor fitness equipment installation
  • Site furniture including bench seating and picnic settings
  • Garden bed construction, mulching and advanced tree planting
  • Instant turf establishment across all open lawn areas
  • Full irrigation system installation

Key Features

  • A dedicated outdoor fitness node set on rust-toned rubber softfall, with exercise equipment, agility markings and sculptural concrete forms punctuating the space
  • A striking angular shelter with timber-lined ceiling and geometric perforated screening, providing shade and a strong visual anchor for the reserve
  • A constructed dry creek bed winding through the nature play reserve, using feature boulders and river stone to create an informal, exploratory play landscape
  • Basalt feature walls delivering durable retaining and edging with a distinctly local material character
  • A timber-framed play structure within the nature play zone, integrated into the surrounding landform rather than sitting apart from it
  • Sweeping concrete pathways connecting both park spaces into the wider estate path network
  • Extensive advanced tree planting and native garden beds establishing canopy and structure early

Lasting Impact

Stage 45 delivers two complementary open spaces: one geared to active recreation, the other to unstructured, nature-based play. Together they give residents genuine variety within walking distance of their homes
